TAMISA at Mining Commission Stakeholders Meeting

On 22 December 2025, TAMISA had the opportunity to receive an invitation from the Mining Commission to participate in a working Meeting together with other stakeholders to discuss the list of goods and services reserved for Indigenous Tanzanian Companies.

In accordance with Regulation 13A of the Mining (Local Content) Regulations, 2018, the Commission is required to periodically publish, in the Government Gazette, on the Commission’s website, and through nationwide media, a list of goods and services that shall be supplied exclusively by Indigenous Tanzanian Companies that are wholly (100 percent) owned by Tanzanian citizens.

We commend the Mining Commission for this initiative, and as TAMISA, we will continue to provide full cooperation and support to the Commission to ensure that goods and services that can be supplied by Tanzanians are properly identified and included in the documents issued by the Commission.
